Purpose for this course
Service Excellence for Tourism is a module that introduces students to the importance of providing high quality customer service to customers. The service economy is driven by increased technology, globalization, and changing consumer behavior among other factors, thus, Service Excellence in a tourism business creates competitive advantage through strong service delivery culture, superb product features and product development. The content introduces students to the customer service concepts, building blocks and enablers of high service delivery. The module facilitates future theoretical development in this subject for practical application in the tourism industry.
